Client Based Opportunities - NY - New York, NY - Temporary
AbelCine, a premier provider of equipment and technology solutions for the broadcast, production, and new media industries, is seeking a Post Production Project Manager for a short-term opportunity supporting a high-profile client in Midtown Manhattan. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is highly organized, and has strong experience managing post workflows across multiple content types.
What You’ll Do
Manage intake of new post-production requests, ensuring all deliverables, formats, and aspect ratios are clearly defined
Partner with Production Managers and stakeholders to confirm scope and requirements
Ensure post teams have all necessary reference materials (briefs, papercuts, design assets), escalating gaps as needed
Coordinate daily with Media Management to ensure footage is ingested and ready for edit
Own and maintain post-production schedules across branded, corporate, and social content
Track deliverables and timelines, ensuring projects stay on schedule and adjusting as needed
Consolidate and communicate feedback to editors and motion designers
Capture and manage feedback during live and work review sessions
Build and maintain Smartsheet dashboards for tracking, reporting, and stakeholder visibility
Collaborate with Production and Post leadership to manage workflows and improve processes
Forecast post-production needs and support resource planning
Manage editor, animator, and freelancer assignments and bandwidth
Source and onboard freelance post talent and vendors as needed
Lead post-production status meetings and kickoff calls
Track project completion and ensure proper documentation and updates
Identify risks, bottlenecks, and workflow improvements
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in post-production coordination or project management
Strong understanding of post workflows across video, branded, and social content
Experience working with editors, motion designers, and external vendors
Highly organized with strong project management and communication skills
Experience with Smartsheet (or similar tools) preferred
Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Location: Onsite - Midtown Manhattan
Classification: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $2,500-weekly
