We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting team. This role plays an essential part in managing customer accounts, ensuring accurate application of payments, maintaining AR aging, and supporting credit and collections processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-service oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, process, and apply customer payments on a daily basis
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information and AR aging reports
- Conduct proactive follow-up with past due customers to support timely collections and improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
- Determine customer credit limits and perform credit checks as needed
- Support internal teams in resolving customer account inquiries, balances, credits, and disputes
- Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Upload invoices and statements to customer portals and platforms as required
- Generate AR-related reports and assist in audit preparation as needed
Requirements for the successful applicant:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and prior work experience
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, or similar accounting support role
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles related to AR
- Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets is a must
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and customer service skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to manage priorities and follow up effectively
- Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets is a must
- Experience with accounting and Salesforce ERP systems; Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Experience in media, broadcast, entertainment, or equipment rentals is a plus
- Collections or credit review experience helpful
Physical Effort:- Prolonged periods of sitting at a computer
- Ability to use hands to operate keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipment.
- Ability to concentrate on detailed tasks
- Occasional lifting of light equipment, up to 10 lbs. (e.g., laptop, files)

Status: Full-Time, On-Site, Non-Exempt
Compensation Range: $55,000 - $70,000
